The clients brief was to create a new 2nd living area, update the kitchen/laundry and install a new study/bedroom with ensuite that could double as guest accommodation, clean contemporary lines highlight the new work throughout and blends the new into old seamlessly.
A big thank you to the team at Griffin Constructions for all the hard work and effort in turning our pokey Campbell duplex into a spacious home. Griffin maintained strong communication with us throughout the build and made sure we knew exactly what was going on and when. Luke patiently explained all the little things that first time renovators like us had no idea about. The Griffin boys and each of the sub-contractors (thanks Bernie!) showed real initiative and a commitment to doing the job properly. They provided design/building alternatives when our original ideas could not be implemented (and very politely suggested to us when they thought something we wanted could be done better!). They were flexible and open to changing/adapting things as our thinking about products and stylistic matters evolved during the course of the build. They were friendly and polite (and clean!) and always gave 100%. Thanks again – we really love our new home.
